Pengertian Grafika Komputer

  • Geometri: mempelajari cara menggambarkan permukaan bidang
  • Animasi: mempelajari cara menggambarkan dan memanipulasi gerakan
  • Rendering: mempelajari algoritma untuk menampilkan efek cahaya
  • Citra (Imaging): mempelajari cara pengambilan dan penyuntingan gambar.
Grafika Komputer

Vast Forests

The vas forest are of great importance for nature and people. Lots of people do not know and relize the importance of vast forests. They cut down trees as if the supply of trees in their countries is limitless. Then settlers cut or burned forests to clear land for farming. Loggers cut and moved on although experts warned that a timber famine was in sight.

Water is an important forest product. Forest soils are giant sponges. They soak up rains so that it seeps slowly into the ground. Most towns and cities depend on these forest reservoirs. Forest streams flow steadily in dry weather. but when trees are cut, the soil is exposed and washes or blows away. The rain runs off quickly, cousing erosion and floods.

Wildlife is another forest resource. The forest provides food and shelter for a large population of birds and animals. Millions of people look to the vas forest as places of recreation.

Soil | Natural Resource

Soil is a basic natural resource. The world depends on the soil to provide most of it's food, clothing, and shelter. Soil supports crops, grazing lands, and forest.

The minerals that are valuableto man are unevenly distributed over the world. The chief fuel minerals-coals, petrolium, and natural gas-provide power and heat for homes and industries.

Uranium is a special kind of fuel mineral, used to produce nuclear energy. Uranium ores are found chiefly in Western North America, South Africa, and Westhern Europe.

The metal in greatest demand in the world is iron. Iron is the basis of steel production and many products for heavy industry. Other metals are bauxite, copper, lead, and zinc.

Natural Resources

Water is one of the essential resources for life. Agriculture, industries, and human settlement depend upon fresh water. Water supplies come from steams, lakes, our groundwater. Some areas of the world have too much water on the land surface and are too wet for settlement or cultivation. Man has drained some of these swamps to provide more land for agriculture, industry, and homes. Other swamplands are useful as homes for wildlife.

Some places in the world are subject to destructive floods. Heavy rainfalls or melting snow may cause floods that destroy crops, homes, and industires. Rivers in flood often destroy lives and property.

Crops such as rubber, bananas, and cacao grow only in climates that are warm and moist all year. Rice is usually a lowland crop. Countries abound in palm, teak, camphor, sandalwood, and ebony trees are Malaysia and Indonesia.

Kinds Of Plant

There are two kinds of plants, flowering plant and non-flowering plant. We can eat some rools, stems and leaves of the plants. Roots we eat are carrot, radish, turnip, sweet, potato and beet. White potato, asparagus, rhubarb and celery are stems we can eat. Leaves we eat are cabbage, onion, spinach. Cauliflower and broccoli are flowers we can eat as well. There are also medicinal and poisonous plants.

Roots grow down into the soil, often branching again and again. The roots are covered with tiny hairs, which take in water and minerals from the soil. These materials are needed by the plant for growth. Roots also help plants by anchoring it in the ground. This prevents the plant from being blown away in a high wind.
